TMG provided a full gut and interior renovation of the third floor of a commercial office building in Washington, DC.
Given the practical design, the reconfiguration also serves as a potential mock-up for future floor renovations. The design took daylight into account by providing an open concept around the perimeter that creates an inviting environment for its inhabitants. The project uses demountable partitions – offices that can be converted into open working areas and vice versa with less effort. The project also provided a Bipolar Ionization system. This system provides a healthy, clean environment by charging ions in order to remove viruses and contaminants from the air.
