TMG was contracted to renovate and expand existing spaces at a Prince George’s County school to be used as hotel management and barbering classroom facilities. The space for hotel management was designed to replicate a hotel reception area and a one-bedroom hotel unit including a bedroom, bathroom, clothes closet and more.
The barbering section consisted of a lab that replicated a salon, barbering classroom, dispensary, locker room, restroom and a storage area. In addition, the lab included ten hair and drying stations, two shampoo stations and four work tables. The locker room included ten lockers.
The classroom was built to accommodate space for computer stations.
