TMG Construction was awarded the $5.6 million campus wide upgrades of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls integration work at both Terminals B and C, the rental car facility and the central utility plant of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.
The project scope included lighting system upgrades, chilled water and heating upgrades to the Rental Car customer service lobby administration area, installation of power meters in specific mechanical rooms, thermal energy storage programming, and the integration of a differential pressure sensor in a Terminal to name a few.
As part of this project, TMG was responsible for removing, storing, transporting and recycling of all fluorescent light tubes, ballasts, high intensity discharge (HID), neon, ultraviolet (UV), mercury vapor, high pressure sodium, and metal halide lamps scheduled for removal. These materials were recycled and regulated as Universal Waste.
