TMG has been working hard out west in Long Beach, California on the $7.7M LGB Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Modernization project which is part of our FAA National BOA contract.
The scope of work involves multiple phases of upgrades to modernize the ATCT and includes site clearing and earthwork, upgrading the ATCT, the E/G Building, the Base Building, and roadway and parking.
TMG is currently installing electrical panels and lightning protection. TMG will also begin installing AHUs and ductwork in the coming days.
Interior drywall has been completed and finishes will be installed later this fall. The exterior tower and catwalk have been cleaned, sealed, and painted. Within the next two weeks, the storefront and EIFS will be installed.
This project was the first one awarded under the National BOA contract, and it is exciting to see the progress to date.
