TMG will provide construction services to all of the World Bank Group’s owned and leased facilities throughout Washington, DC
The World Bank Group (WBG) recently selected The Matthews Group, Inc. trading as TMG Construction Corporation (TMG) to serve as their General Contractor for Construction Services for the World Bank headquarters in Washington, DC.
TMG will supply a dedicated project management and construction team to serve all of WBG’s construction needs for the next seven years. Projects will range from construction planning services to tenant office demolition and renovation to base building repairs to mechanical and electrical upgrades and repairs.
The World Bank Group owns and leases commercial office buildings in downtown Washington, DC as well as support facilities in Maryland and Virginia, the most prominent being the main headquarters at 1818 H Street with over 2 million square feet of space and the International Finance Corporation headquarters at 2121 Penn Ave. with over 1.1 million square feet of space.
